The messages that get a clear answer are short. Date, hotel, how many hours, and whether you already saw someone on the roster. The messages that get a question back are a paragraph about the kind of energy you want and no address. This is the version to send before you fly into AGP, or the night before if you are already in the city.
Start with the building
A neighbourhood is enough to tell you if the hour is realistic. A hotel name is enough to plan the arrival. Centro, La Malagueta, Pedregalejo, Torremolinos, Benalmádena, Fuengirola: those six are the launch map. If you are on the airport corridor for one night, say that, so nobody pictures a week on Larios. If you are at the Parador, say the hill. The drive up Gibralfaro is slower than the view suggests.
Room numbers can wait until you want her sent straight up. Before that, the bar, the side of the desk, and what you are wearing are enough. Do not attach your passport. Do not attach a live location that dies in a car park.
Then the clock
Write the hour you will be free, not the hour the plane lands. Bags and a hotel key sit between those two. Dinner in this city is late. A table at ten is normal. A table at eight with a companion who has been asked to be charming in an empty room is a waste of the booking. If you have a ship, send the all-aboard time and work backward. If you have a meeting at FYCMA the next morning, the overnight needs an end, not a vibe.
August, Feria, and a named person are the three reasons to write earlier than the afternoon before. Every other week, an afternoon message is often enough for the same evening in the city. Fuengirola and a day trip to Granada need more, because they use up a whole day. The travel page is for leaving the city. The airport page is for arriving. They are not interchangeable.
A name, and a second name
The roster is the list. If you have read it, say who. Then say who else you would accept, because the first person may be in a hotel already. We will not swap quietly. We will tell you, and the second name is what keeps the evening alive.
Describe the evening in one line. Dinner. Dinner and back to the hotel. Overnight until nine. A couple. A colleague at the table. A despedida with one organiser. Those lines are the whole brief. A list of physical demands is how you get a shorter reply than you wanted. Temperament travels further: quiet, social, fine with a client, not fine with a group.
What happens next
You get a yes with a figure, or a no, or a smaller plan. The figure is the one on the night, built the way the prices page describes, settled privately at the start. We do not take a card on the site for the hours. If you need to change the hotel after you land, write before she is in the taxi. A change inside the centre is usually nothing. A change from Torremolinos to a pueblo above the marina is a different journey.
If you are not sure the hotel is the right base, read where to stay before you write. Moving hotels is easier than moving a confirmed evening across the coast. The booking guide is the longer sequence. This is only so the first message is one we can answer.
A message you can copy
Date, hotel, hours, who else is there, a name and a second name. That is enough. Add the flight number only if you want us to know why the hour might slip. Add the restaurant only if you have already booked it. Leave out the essay. We read the essay, and then we ask for the hotel anyway.
If you are writing in Spanish, write in Spanish. Say the barrio in the words you use: Centro, La Malagueta, Pedregalejo, El Palo, Torremolinos, Benalmádena, Fuengirola. We will answer in the language you used if we can do it clearly, and we will not guess the town from a poetic description of the sea.
One more failure is worth naming. Do not send the same request to three agencies and then go silent when the first one confirms. If you have changed your mind, say so before someone is in a taxi to your hotel. A short no is a complete message. It keeps the roster honest for the next person, and it keeps you off the list of arrivals we no longer trust. When you are ready, the roster is the place to look, and the first line of your note should be the building, not the mood. A cruise call at the city quay is not a flight. Name the ship if that is how you arrived, and name AGP only when you actually landed there. If the hotel is still a guess, say so. We can talk about Centro versus the beach. We cannot hold a woman for a reservation you might not make. A named building is the whole trick. Everything else in the note is optional colour.
